SENIOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER

Our Philosophy

Our bodies change as we age, and so do our minds. Studies show that seniors face an increased risk of mental challenges, including clinical depression and memory impairment. But there's good news – in most cases, these conditions can be successfully treated and managed with specialized care. That's the mission of the Senior Behavioral Health Center.

What We Treat

Our Senior Behavioral Health Center addresses a variety of mental health concerns associated with the aging process, including but not limited to:

  • Depression: We provide support and treatment for symptoms of sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest.
  • Anxiety Disorders: We help patients manage feelings of excessive worry, panic, and fear.
  • Cognitive Disorders: We offer assessment and intervention for dementia and mild cognitive impairment.
  • Adjustment Disorders: We support individuals coping with significant life changes or stressors, such as the loss of a loved one or relocation.
  • Psychosis: We provide care for seniors experiencing delusions, hallucinations, or other severe mental disturbances.
  • Mood Disorders: We address conditions like bipolar disorder and help manage mood fluctuations.
  • Behavioral Challenges: We manage issues such as agitation, aggression, or withdrawal, often associated with underlying mental health conditions.
