About Telemedicine At Coosa Valley Emergency Department

In order to better meet the needs of the community during COVID-19, CVMC has implemented telemedicine in our Emergency Department. Telemedicine means that patients can visit the Emergency Department virtually on their phone via video chat. CVMC implemented this practice in order to provide a safe and secure way to receive medical treatment. Offering telemedicine for our Emergency Department can help get you the care you need when you need it—whether that’s advice, reminders, education, intervention or monitoring.

We use electronic information and telecommunication technologies to enhance access to providers, offer real-time virtual visits and remote patient monitoring.
