4th floor cares for the acutely ill adult patient. We treat pneumonia, congestive heart failure, stroke, diabetes, and many other common medical problems. Care is directed from a central nursing station. The staff of 4th floor is made up of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and unit secretaries. Care is delivered using a team model. Your team of health care workers will be a registered nurse, a medication/treatment nurse and a nursing assistant.
