Succeeding in your new role

At Coosa Valley Medical Center, we want to provide you with the support, tools and resources you need to excel as a member of our team. After completing the New Hire Orientation, you will spend the next week or so familiarizing yourself with the organization, your department and colleagues. You will have the opportunity to sit down with your supervisor to set goals and define expectations for yourself and your position. This paves the way for you to check in with your manager over the next several months and beyond to assess your progress and performance, and to see where you’re succeeding and where you may need additional training and development.

 

Open Door Policy

We are dedicated to making you feel needed and appreciated here at CVMC. You will be contacted by a representative in the Human Resource’s Department after your first 90 days of employment. This is an opportunity to let us here at CVMC know how we are doing. We encourage your feedback on any questions or concerns that you may have. Remember, the Human Resource Department is here to answer any questions that you may have. You are welcome to speak with us Monday thru Friday, from 8am-5pm, or after hours by calling the switchboard at 256-401-4000.
